Ohio Academy of Nursing Homes Political Action Committee (PAC)
As you know, legislation can affect all nursing home owners and employees in various ways. Some legislation
attempts to place more stringent regulations on nursing homes and some legislation eases these regulations.
For example; in the biennium budget, nursing homes saved about $150 million more dollars than anticipated.
This was accomplished through our good relationship with the legislators and our PAC.
OANH gives money to candidates that we see helping our industry. In order for your voice to be heard, we encourage
everyone with an interest in nursing homes to contribute. This can be done through payroll deductions, donation
(up to $5000.00), and/or contributing directly to the candidate or party. By giving to the PAC you give with
others that have the same interest. This way, you are able to contribute more money making your voice heard!
